The Horizon Prep Lions (Rancho Santa Fe, CA) basketball nipped the visiting The Cambridge School Griffins (San Diego, CA), 22-21 in Thursday's league test.

The Lions (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Ocean View Christian (San Diego, CA). The Patriots go into the Pioneer test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Ocean View Christian got by Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA), 39-26, in a non-league test.

The Griffins now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host High Tech CV for a Summit test on Tuesday, January 10.
