In Thursday's league outing, the The Cambridge School Griffins (San Diego, CA) basketball squad felled the visiting Horizon Prep Lions (Rancho Santa Fe, CA), by a margin of 32-14.

The Griffins (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Preuss UCSD (La Jolla, CA). The Tritons go into the Summit outing with a 11-11 record. In their last outing, Preuss UCSD thwarted Ocean View Christian (San Diego, CA), 30-12, in a league outing.

The Lions now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Chula Vista Learning Community Charter for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 7. Horizon Prep will encounter a Cobras squad coming off a 36-19 non-league loss to San Pasqual Academy (Escondido, CA). The Cobras record now stands at 2-12.
