In Thursday's league match, the host Polytech Panthers basketball team scored a good 44-36 triumph over the Sussex Central Golden Knights.
In their next game, the Panthers meet the Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles (Newark, DE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 7. Polytech will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 53-25 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, DE).
