Arlington Tigers (Arlington, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Collierville Dragons (Collierville, TN), 59-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Arlington upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Germantown (Germantown, TN) to clash with the Red Devils in a 4A District 15 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Germantown lost 46-34 in their recent league bout against Southwind (Memphis, TN)

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Bartlett Panthers (Bartlett, TN) in a 4A District 15 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Collierville will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 68-52 non-league loss to AZ Compass Prep National (Chandler, AZ).
