Texas High School Basketball - Honey Grove can't hold off Bland

The Bland Tigers basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Honey Grove Warriors to 36 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Celeste for a 2A Region II District 14 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Bland will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 45-37 league win over Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-9.
The Warriors (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Whitewright (Whitewright, TX). The Tigers enter the 2A Region II District 14 contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Whitewright nudged Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX), 90-14, in a league contest.
