The Century Centurions basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Shawnee Redskins to 28 in the Centurions league victory on Friday.

The Centurions now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cobden for a South Egyptian contest on Monday, January 8. Century will battle a Appleknockers team coming off a 70-26 league win over Joppa-Maple Grove (Joppa, IL). The Appleknockers record now stands at 9-6.

The Redskins (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Joppa-Maple Grove (Joppa, IL). The Rangers come into the South Egyptian contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Joppa-Maple Grove was routed by Cobden (Cobden, IL), 70-26, in a league contest.
