The Elk City Elks basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Clinton Red Tornadoes to 34 in the Elks league triumph on Friday.

The Elks now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hinton for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Elk City will battle a Comets team coming off a 63-50 league loss to Christian Heritage (Del City, OK). The Comets record now stands at 5-4.

The Red Tornadoes (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Woodward (Woodward, OK). The Boomers enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Woodward was routed by Alva (Alva, OK), 60-53, in a non-league contest.
