With the victory, Unaka improves its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Washburn (Washburn, TN) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Washburn lost 76-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Cherokee (Rogersville, TN)

Next up, the Highlanders confront the Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 8. Cloudland will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 82-63 league win over Draughn (Valdese, NC).
