North Carolina High School Basketball - West Cabarrus nipped by Cox Mill

The Cox Mill Chargers tipped the host West Cabarrus Wolverines basketball team by a final score of 68-61 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Chargers face the A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) in a 4A Greater Metro game, on Tuesday, January 9. Cox Mill will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Wonders enter the game with a 6-6 record after their 82-45 league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC).

With the defeat, West Cabarrus moves to 6-7 on the year. The Wolverines host Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC) to face the Wildcats in a 4A Greater Metro game on Tuesday, January 9.
