The Dodd City Hornets basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy to 33 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Miller Grove for a 1A Region III District 23 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Dodd City will battle a Hornets team coming off a 53-43 league win over Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy (Fate, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 5-19.
The (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Campbell (Campbell, TX). The Indians enter the 1A Region III District 23 contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Campbell was routed by Savoy (Savoy, TX), 47-20, in a league contest.
