Texas High School Basketball - Elysian Fields knocked off by Troup

The Troup Tigers basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Elysian Fields Yellowjackets to 37 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waskom for a 3A Region II District 16 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Troup will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 91-45 league loss to Tatum (Tatum, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-16.
The Yellowjackets (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Waskom (Waskom, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region II District 16 contest with a 7-16 record.
