With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL) to play the Rebels in a 7A Area 5 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Vestavia Hills won 50-44 in their recent league bout against Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL)

Next up, the Warriors play the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL) in a 7A Area 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Thompson will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 13-8 record after their 50-44 league loss to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL).
