In their next game, the Buccaneers meet the Central Red Devils (Phenix City, AL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 29. Hoover will attempt to better on its 30-3 season record. The Red Devils enter the match with a 29-7 record after their 62-60 non-league win over Auburn (Auburn, AL).
With the defeat, Thompson moves to 22-10 on the year.
