With the victory, Lakota West improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to West Carrollton (West Carrollton, OH) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. West Carrollton won 59-38 in their recent league challenge against Xenia (Xenia, OH)

Next up, the Thunderhawks confront the Hamilton Big Blue (Hamilton, OH) in a Greater Miami challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Lakota East will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Big Blue come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 48-46 league win over Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH).
