The Lakota West Firebirds basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Lakota East Thunderhawks to 50 in the Firebirds league win on Friday.

With the win, Lakota West upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Firebirds host Sycamore (Cincinnati, OH) to clash with the Aviators in a Greater Miami bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Aviators go into the bout with a record of 15-4.

Next up, the Thunderhawks clash with the Oak Hills Highlanders (Cincinnati, OH) in a Greater Miami bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Lakota East will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Highlanders go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 38-30 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, OH).
