Xavier Falcons (Middletown, CT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Law Lawmen (Milford, CT), 77-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Xavier upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Falcons host Hillhouse (New Haven, CT) to play the Academics in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Academics come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Hillhouse won 55-54 in their recent league bout against North Haven (North Haven, CT)

Next up, the Lawmen play the Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Law will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 65-53 league loss to Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT).
