Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Washington-Wilkes Tigers (Washington, GA), 63-56 in a league bout.
With the win, Lincoln County upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Red Devils host Aquinas (Augusta, GA) to play the Fightin' Irish in a A D2 Region 8 bout on Friday, January 12. The Fightin' Irish go into the bout with a record of 2-8.
Next up, the Tigers play the Glenn Hills Spartans (Augusta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Washington-Wilkes will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 0-12 record after their 83-27 league loss to Westside (Augusta, GA).
