Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA), 72-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Northwest Area upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Rangers travel to Millville (Millville, PA) to clash with the Quakers in a Midd-Penn bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Quakers go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Millville lost 55-41 in their recent league bout against Sullivan County (Laporte, PA)

Next up, the Griffins clash with the Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights (Williamsport, PA) in a Midd-Penn bout, on Friday, January 12. Sullivan County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
