North Carolina High School Basketball - Rocky Mount Prep nudges Northwest Halifax

January 5, 2024: Rocky Mount, NC 27804

In Friday's league outing, the Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars (Rocky Mount, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC), by a count of 72-66.

The Jaguars (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC). The Pride go into the 1A Tar Roanoke outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, KIPP Pride was tipped by Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC), 64-45, in a league outing.

The Vikings now hold a 1-10 record. They play next when they host North Edgecombe for a 1A Tar Roanoke outing on Tuesday, January 9. Northwest Halifax will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 76-61 non-league win over Tarboro (Tarboro, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 7-2.
