With the win, Poyen upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Indians travel to Bigelow (Bigelow, AR) to play the Panthers in a 2A Region 5 bout on Monday, January 8. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Bigelow lost 62-58 in their recent league bout against England (England, AR)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Magnet Cove Panthers (Malvern, AR) in a 2A Region 5 bout, on Monday, January 8. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-14 record after their 44-34 league loss to Mountain Pine (Mountain Pine, AR).
