The Warrenton Warriors (Warrenton, OR) basketball crushed the host Rainier Columbians (Rainier, OR), 61-37 in Friday's league test.

The Warriors (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Yamhill-Carlton (Yamhill, OR). The Tigers go into the 3A Coastal Range test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Yamhill-Carlton walloped Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR), 48-44, in a league test.

The Columbians now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Corbett for a 3A Coastal Range outing on Tuesday, January 9. Rainier will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 65-42 league loss to Banks (Banks, OR). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-11.
