The Rogue River Chieftains basketball team (Rogue River, OR), was routed 74-27 in Friday's league battle with the visiting St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR)

The Crusaders now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookings-Harbor for a 3A Far West battle on Tuesday, January 9. St. Mary's will battle a Bruins team coming off a 50-48 league loss to Lakeview (Lakeview, OR). The Bruins record now stands at 3-9.

The Chieftains (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against North Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Knights come into the 3A Far West battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, North Valley was routed by Cascade Christian (Medford, OR), 98-47, in a league battle.
