Virginia High School Basketball - Christiansburg knocked off by Salem

The Salem Spartans basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Christiansburg Blue Demons to 37 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Magna Vista for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. Salem will battle a Warriors team coming off a 80-40 league win over Mecklenburg County (Baskerville, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-2.
The Blue Demons (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cougars enter the River Ridge contest with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Pulaski County knocked off Princeton (Princeton, WV), 50-41, in a non-league match.
