The Escalante Lobos basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Mora Rangers/Rangerettes to 35 in the Lobos non-league victory on Friday.

The Lobos now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Questa for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Escalante will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 47-29 non-league win over McCurdy (Espanola, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-3.

The Rangers/Rangerettes (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against McCurdy (Espanola, NM). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, McCurdy was nudged by Questa (Questa, NM), 47-29, in a non-league contest.
