The Prescott Curley Wolves basketball team (Prescott, AR), was nudged 50-48 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Genoa Central Dragons (Texarkana, AR)

The Dragons now possess a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fouke for a 3A Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 9. Genoa Central will battle a Panthers team coming off a 53-25 league win over Glen Rose (Malvern, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 20-0.

The Curley Wolves (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Centerpoint (Amity, AR). The Knights come into the 3A Region 7 battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Centerpoint edged Jessieville (Jessieville, AR), 51-49, in a league battle.
