Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ) and the visiting Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ), saw Pequannock's basketball squad overcome Hanover Park by a tally of 51-43.

With the victory, Pequannock improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Golden Panthers travel to Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Sunday, January 7. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 10-0. Morris Catholic won 94-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ)

Next up, the Hornets confront the Morris Hills Knights (Rockaway, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Hanover Park will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 45-41 non-league loss to West Morris Central (Chester, NJ).
