With the victory, Parry McCluer upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Fighting Blues travel to Nelson County (Lovingston, VA) to play the Governors in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 8. The Governors come into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Nelson County lost 53-2 in their recent league challenge against Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA)

Next up, the Rams play the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs (Mill Creek, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 8. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 46-34 non-league loss to Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV).
