Olivet Eagles (Olivet, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Ionia Bulldogs (Ionia, MI), 36-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Olivet upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles host Paw Paw (Paw Paw, MI) to play the Red Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Red Wolves go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Paw Paw won 75-56 in their recent non-league bout against Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Charlotte Orioles (Charlotte, MI) in a Capital Area - White bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Ionia will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Orioles go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 49-29 non-league win over Sexton (Lansing, MI).
