Olivet Eagles (Olivet, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Ionia Bulldogs (Ionia, MI), 44-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Olivet upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Springport (Springport, MI) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 12-3. Springport won 59-15 in their recent league bout against Union City (Union City, MI)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Charlotte Orioles (Charlotte, MI) in a Capital Area - White bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Ionia will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Orioles come into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 53-27 non-league win over Sexton (Lansing, MI).
