The West Central Area Knights basketball team (Barrett, MN), was nudged 53-47 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN)

The Lakers now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eden Valley-Watkins for a AA Section 3 battle on Tuesday, January 9.

The Knights (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Dutchmen come into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record.
