Texas High School Basketball - Mission Veterans Memorial ripped by Nixon

The Nixon Mustangs basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots to 20 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 21-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cigarroa for a 5A Region IV District 30 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Nixon will battle a Toros team coming off a 43-37 league win over Martin (Laredo, TX). The Toros record now stands at 13-11.
The Patriots (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Martin (Laredo, TX). The Tigers enter the 5A Region IV District 30 contest with a 12-16 record. In their last contest, Martin triumphed over Roma (Roma, TX), 44-39, in a league contest.
