West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Firth Cougars (Firth, ID), 65-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Side upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID) to play the Bears in a bout on Thursday, January 11. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Bear Lake won 67-64 in their recent non-league bout against Riverton (Riverton, WY)

Next up, the Cougars play the Ririe Bulldogs (Ririe, ID) in a bout, on Thursday, January 11. Firth will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
