The West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID) basketball felled the host Firth Cougars (Firth, ID), 64-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pirates (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Ririe (Ririe, ID). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Ririe thwarted Malad (Malad, ID), 53-38, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Side for a non-league test on Friday, January 5.
