In Thursday's non-league outing, the West Blocton Tigers (West Blocton, AL) basketball squad felled the visiting Oak Grove Tigers (Bessemer, AL), by a margin of 68-55.
The Tigers (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Montevallo (Montevallo, AL). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Area 6 outing with a 6-9 record. In their last outing, Montevallo was beaten by Marbury (Marbury, AL), 57-50, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Northside for a non-league outing on Friday, January 7. Oak Grove will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 75-49 non-league loss to Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL). The Rams record now stands at 6-8.
