The Alpena Wildcats basketball team (Alpena, MI), was overwhelmed 76-42 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI)
The Northmen now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cadillac for a Big North battle on Thursday, January 12.
The Wildcats (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI). The Blue Devils come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Sault Area trounced Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI), 60-33, in a league battle.
