Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Alpena Wildcats (Alpena, MI), 68-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Petoskey upgrades its record to 17-6 on the season. The Northmen travel to Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 8. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 10-13. Traverse City West won 59-45 in their recent non-league bout against Gaylord (Gaylord, MI)
