The Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY) basketball knocked off the visiting Archbishop Molloy Stanners (Queens, NY), 66-57 in Friday's league test.

The Royals (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Xaverian (Brooklyn, NY). The Clippers go into the Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens test with a 4-4 record.

The Stanners now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Loughlin for a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens test on Tuesday, January 10. Archbishop Molloy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 68-57 non-league win over St. Dominic (Oyster Bay, NY). The Lions record now stands at 5-7.
