The Christ the King Royals basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the host Archbishop Molloy Stanners to 45 in the Royals league victory on Friday.

The Royals now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Loughlin for a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens contest on Sunday, February 5. Christ the King will battle a Lions team coming off a 59-47 non-league loss to Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY). The Lions record now stands at 5-15.

The Stanners (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Loughlin (Brooklyn, NY). The Lions come into the Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens contest with a 5-16 record. In their last contest, Bishop Loughlin was routed by Christ the King (Middle Village, NY), 62-54, in a league contest.
