    The Auburn Eagles basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Christiansburg Blue Demons to 56 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

    The Eagles now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galax for a Mountain Empire contest on Friday, January 13.

    The Blue Demons (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Titans enter the River Ridge contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Hidden Valley ran past Glenvar (Salem, VA), 56-49, in a non-league contest.
