The Christiansburg Blue Demons basketball team (Christiansburg, VA), was overwhelmed 73-36 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA)
The Eagles now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Galax for a Mountain Empire battle on Friday, December 9. Auburn will confront a Maroon Tide team coming off a 45-42 non-league loss to Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 0-1.
The Blue Demons (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
