With the victory, South Elgin improves its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Storm host Elgin (Elgin, IL) to play the Maroons in a Upstate Eight challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Maroons come into the challenge with a record of 8-7.

Next up, the Tomcats play the West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Aurora East will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record.
