Illinois High School Basketball - Aurora East can't hold off South Elgin

The South Elgin Storm basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Aurora East Tomcats to 72 in the Storm league triumph on Friday.
The Storm now sport a 18-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elgin for a Upstate Eight contest on Tuesday, February 14. South Elgin will battle a Maroons team coming off a 70-35 non-league win over Round Lake (Round Lake, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 11-19.
The Tomcats (13-15) will now prepare for their contest against Fenton (Bensenville, IL). The Bison enter the Upstate Eight contest with a 23-7 record. In their last contest, Fenton nudged Argo (Summit, IL), 77-54, in a non-league contest.
