The River Pilots (Hannibal, OH) basketball crushed the host Barnesville Shamrocks (Barnesville, OH), 54-32 in Friday's non-league test.
The Pilots (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH). The Seminoles go into the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Monroe Central walloped Magnolia (New Martinsville, WV), 66-49, in a league test.
The Shamrocks now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Frye for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Barnesville will encounter a Cadets squad coming off a 61-42 non-league loss to Marietta (Marietta, OH). The Cadets record now stands at 3-6.
