Oregon High School Basketball - Blanchet Catholic can't hold off Western Christian

The Western Christian Pioneers basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers to 47 in the Pioneers league triumph on Friday.
The Pioneers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yamhill-Carlton for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Western Christian will battle a Tigers team coming off a 65-39 non-league loss to Astoria (Astoria, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 7-5.
The Cavaliers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Willamina (Willamina, OR). The Bulldogs enter the 2A Tri-River contest with a 6-3 record.
