The Western Christian Pioneers (Salem, OR) basketball felled the visiting Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers (Salem, OR), 56-36 in Wednesday's league test.
The Pioneers (16-6) will now prepare for their test against Delphian (Sheridan, OR). The Dragons go into the 2A Tri-River test with a 5-10 record.
The Cavaliers now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Willamina for a 2A Tri-River test on Friday, February 3. Blanchet Catholic will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 53-46 league loss to Salem Academy (Salem, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-8.
