With the victory, Braxton County improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Webster County (Upper Glade, WV) to confront the Highlanders in a Little Kanawha - East challenge on Monday, January 9. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Webster County lost 71-59 in their recent non-league challenge against James Monroe (Lindside, WV)

Next up, the Fighting Irish confront the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs (Mill Creek, WV) in a Mason-Dixon challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Notre Dame will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 52-47 non-league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, WV).
