Cedar Hill Longhorns (Cedar Hill, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, TX), 60-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Cedar Hill upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Longhorns host Skyline (Dallas, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a 6A Region II District 11 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Skyline lost 32-24 in their recent league bout against Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes (Duncanville, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Mansfield will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Panthers and Pantherettes go into the bout with a 18-1 record after their 57-42 league win over Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX).
