Providence Pioneers (Clarksville, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Clarksville Generals (Clarksville, IN), 58-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Providence upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Generals play the New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Clarksville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 69-45 league loss to Borden (Borden, IN).
