Virginia High School Basketball - Sidwell Friends thwarts Flint Hill

The Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC) basketball knocked off the host Flint Hill Huskies (Oakton, VA), 63-46 in Friday's league test.
The Quakers (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Episcopal (Alexandria, VA). The Maroon go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Episcopal notched a victory over Sandy Spring Friends (Sandy Spring, MD), 82-70, in a non-league test.
The Huskies now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bullis for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Flint Hill will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 58-56 non-league win over Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-1.
