The Huntington Beach Oilers basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Fountain Valley Barons to 75 in the Oilers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Oilers now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newport Harbor for a Wave contest on Wednesday, January 11. Huntington Beach will battle a Sailors team coming off a 73-71 non-league win over Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA). The Sailors record now stands at 14-6.

The Barons (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA). The Griffins enter the Surf contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Los Alamitos was nudged by Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA), 73-71, in a non-league contest.
